Condolence: Can't believe how the years have passed. I last saw Monsignor Tom at my Uncle Larry's passing( 2010) and he also came to my father's passing that was back in 2009. He will always be remembered for his wit and also being the family historian! He knew all about our ancestry and was a very caring person! He will be missed by all! Condolences to the whole family John.

Condolence: I was sadden to learn of Fa. Leonard's death having known him for so many years. Family gatherings and church events were always a joy. For Father to travel up to New Hampshire in JUNE 2017 to officiate at Jim's Mass was an honor I will never forget...May he rest in peace.

Condolence: Monsignor Leonard is one of the most exceptional pastors, priests and men I have known. A man of great leadership, wisdom, caring and humor, he will be greatly missed. With a song always at the ready, he was a consummate preacher and, whether it was the Christmas Eve discovery of the “disappearance” of a living Nativity at a neighboring church or the many stories of his family, always an entertaining storyteller. A faithful servant of the Lord, it has been my privilege to know him. A faithful man will abound with blessings, Rest in Peace Monsignor. I know your reward is great.

Condolence From: Deacon John Maloney
Condolence: Devastated at the news of the death of Msgr. Leonard. He was the director/moderator of the first deaconate program of the Archdiocese of New York in 1971-1973. Thanks to him, I am now 45 years a deacon, longest serving in the Archdiocese. My wife, Joan, was his classmate at Corpus Christi...A great loss to all.

Condolence: Monsignor Leonard was a beacon of hope, love and wisdom to generations of St. David's School boys. He walked all of us through the process of becoming a good Roman Catholic. From the age of 6, I knew Tom as an incredibly caring, honest and faithful man. Tom was there for every religious milestone in my life, from my first communion to my wedding. Father Leonard also gave the last rites to many of my fellow St. David's alumni over his 50+ years as our chaplain. The entire St. David's community will miss this incredible man...God knows I will. RIP, good sir...and thank you for a lifetime of spiritual guidance, love and care.
