Obituary for Joseph A. Dorrian
Joseph Anthony Dorrian a 48 year resident of Scarsdale NY passed on July 17, 2019. He was a devoted husband, loving father and cherished friend to all he met. A 1953 graduate from All Hallows High School and a 1957 Fordham University graduate, Joe made his mark on Wall Street and on green fairways all around the world, most especially Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years Ann Gill Dorrian, daughters Laura Albertson of Southbury CT, Mary-Jo McAvey of Fairfield CT, sons Patrick of Leesburg VA and Timothy of Scarsdale NY; Joseph is predeceased by son Joseph Jr. The devoted grandfather of 9 (Brody, Casey, Kaitlin, Colleen Riley, Vincent, Brian, Murphy, and Andrew) was the son of Irish immigrants James J & Mary E Dorrian.
Joe would read just about anything at anytime and love nothing more than a good laugh, a good story and a good cigar! He will be missed by all of his many friends and most especially by surviving brothers James and John, deceased sister Theresa and surviving sister Marie.
